The Czech Republic will endeavor that the future legislation arrangement of Cohesion Policy emphasizes less bureaucracy, administration burden, verifications or audits, and strives for more legal certainty in decision-making, based on trust.

The Government of the Czech Republic approved a set of framework positions of the selected EU regulations for Cohesion Policy in 2021–2027 on 4 September 2018. These framework positions have become the cornerstone for further negotiations on the final form of the proposed regulations.
