Cooperation Programme Czech Republic - Free State of Bavaria
The Czech Republic-Bavaria cross-border cooperation programme 2021-2027 will focus on developing and strengthening research and innovation capacities, supporting adaptation to climate change and preventing the associated risks, strengthening nature and biodiversity protection and conservation, expanding the common educational offer, strengthening the role of culture, natural heritage and sustainable tourism, promoting cross-border cooperation of institutions and traditional projects of people meeting across the border (so called people-to-people projects).
The programme will follow up on the Cross-border Cooperation Programme Czech Republic - Free State of Bavaria, ETC Objective 2014-2020. The general conditions of support will continue to apply, such as the lead partner principle, the cross-border cooperation principle and the demonstrable positive cross-border impact on the eligible territory on both sides of the border.
The grant applicants include e.g. public institutions or non-profit organizations. A detailed overview of suitable applicants will be specified for each investment priority separately.
As in the previous programming period, support will be provided to projects with a positive cross-border impact on the territory of the Karlovy Vary, Plzeň and South Bohemian Regions and the border areas of the government districts of Upper Franconia, Upper Palatinate and Lower Bavaria.
